At 18:30 on January 3, 2018, 2017 Canhigh Award Fund Selection of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Zhejiang University was held successfully in the Zijingang Campus. Fu Huijun (deputy secretary of the Party committee of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture), Professor Chen Shuifu (associate Dean of Civil Engineering Department of College of Civil Engineering and Architecture), Wang Ka, (Associate Professor of Architecture Department), Jin Liqiao (the representative of the head teacher), Qiu Pingping (head of Brand Marketing of Canhigh Group) and Zhu Shuge (director of President Office) attended and acted as the interview judges. "Canhigh Scholarship Fund" specially set "Scholarships" and "International Exchange Assistance Funds". This selection is mainly for the applicants of Canhigh scholarship, for recommendation examination graduates (the one recommended to the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Zhejiang University in 2018), junior of architectural planning and all sophomores. The grant amount is RMB 10,000/person/year. The selection will continue to 3 years. A total of 35 outstanding undergraduates participated in this election after independent registration and primary selection by college.

The students in this selection needs to introduce themselves briefly in order and explain their own studies, achievements of participating in various scientific research and community activities in school and their participation in public welfare activities. It is also necessary to express their opinions on the construction of "Double First-Class" initiative, the goal of talent cultivation of Zhejiang University, and the donation of alumni. The judges then graded the students according to their performance of each part.

After the selection, Li Baoheng who participated in the election meeting said that thank Canhigh group for setting up scholarships to subsidize the students. Regardless of the results, I felt honored to be able to participate in this selection. This was not only an opportunity for individuals to show themselves and win glory, also an opportunity to learn from other excellent students. The questions raised by the judges had made him clear about my shortcomings and the direction of my efforts, so he would make up for the weakness in the future and continued to work hard!
