On June 27, 2017, Canhigh and Vanke indirectly obtained the equity of Leisure Lake Project which is the million-square-meter super housing community in the form of equity acquisition.
Leisure Lake is located in Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City area in Yuhang District, occupying the core position of Western Science Innovation Corridor. It covers an area of about 80 hectares and a floor area of about 1 million square meters in total. With a about 150,000-square-meter lake-view zone and about 70,000-square-meters commercial facilities, it is a low-density and pure American-style exquisite town. The project invited a number of international planning and design teams (such as GLC, WHA and PAL) as partners, thus establishing its international positioning. Adhering to the idea of providing supporting facility first, one third of the land has been allocated for supporting services and hundreds of million RMB has been spent on the construction of the lake landscape. 15 hectares of private lakes, main entrance to the landscape and 4 hectares of Wanquan Square have been successively built. Many supporting facilities, such as hotels and catering centers, have been provided inside to create a living atmosphere for the owners. At present, kindergartens and schools have also opened for the public.
