Located in Liuxia Sub-district in Hangzhou's Xihu District, between the West Lake and Xixi, Harmonious Homes occupies seven mountains of the West Lake, where stand 4,363 ancient trees. The average annual temperature is 16.4  ℃. The average PM2.5 index is 66μg/m3. The lowest value is 6μg/m3. Its environment is as fresh as a forest park. From the royal road that Emperor Gaozong in Song Dynasty walked through to Marshal Helong’s heroic team “Hard-Boned Sixth Company”, and more than 5,000 years of history and culture are the unique regional culture of Harmonious Homes. In August 2004, Canhigh acquired the million-square-meter project plot between the West Lake and Xixi mountains by means of M & A. Since then, Canhigh has been dedicated in this for more than ten years. It developed and created a symbolic, humanistic and ecological community in Hangzhou - Harmonious Homes.

For Harmonious Homes, Canhigh introduced international first-class partners to participate in project design, such as CCDI, AEP Design Singapore, PAL Design Group, GBBN Architects. Following the planning rule of "harmony with nature", Canhigh preserved the original landform and 4,363 native trees to the greatest extent in the development process and made the houses "grow naturally" among trees. Realizing your dreamy life is the core idea of the project. Insisting on planning first, Canhigh strives to create an ideal lifelong residence for the owners of Harmonious Homes in community support. Harmonious Homes are provided with a variety of living facilities, such as 3,000㎡ urban ecological square and supermarket, 800m commercial street, 3,000㎡ fitness club, hiking trail leading directly to the West Lake Scenic Area. Meanwhile, it has one-stop school districts composed of Mingyuan Kindergarten, Qiushi (Harmonious Homes) Elementary School and Experimental School Affiliated to Zhejiang University of Technology, which create high-quality life in Harmonious Homes.

After over ten years, with more than 4,000 homeowners lived here, Harmonious Homes have become a town of its own with residential & educational support. With its unique natural landscape, quality life, educational support and original products, the project is attracted and favored by elite people, such as senior management of Alibaba Group, CEOs of listed companies, mainstream media anchors, members of Talent Development Plan. The project has continued the spirit of environmental protection for many years, established the first community environmental protection organization “Environmental Squirrel Club” in Hangzhou, and organized  the residents to improve the environment of the community from energy saving, pollution reduction, noise reduction, etc., making it become the representative of dynamic and sustainable communities. In addition, the rich and diverse community culture of Harmonious Homes is also a highlight of the project. More than twenty community clubs have been established, such as Football Club, Mountain Running Club, Painting and Calligraphy Club, Basketball Club, Photography Club, Taiji Club, indicating that the community culture that Canhigh supports is developing in the direction of diversification.

The project has an area of nearly 60 hectares with a total construction area of about 1 million square meters, covering multi-storey, high-rise, townhouses, villas and other property types. There are about 5,000 households in total. It is a composite humanistic, ecological community. The project was launched in 2007 and the first group was put into service at the end of 2008. There are still three groups under development.
